Chris asks…

How to change background image on Google home page using pictures from my computer?

When I try to change background image on my google home page I don’t have option to upload picture from my computer.I used to have this option but not anymore.I only have options to select images from public gallery or picasa web photos.I’m using Google in English.

Administrator answers:

You might have to upload it to Picasa first then select it from there, I’m not sure there’s another way to do it, Google like to annoy people from time to time.

Sharon asks…

How do you let people comment on google sites?

I made a google site on google sites, but how can people comment about the site?

Administrator answers:

At the moment, it is not possible for viewers of your website to leave comments unless you add them as co-collaborators.

I did a little searching and a found a very helpful link that will answer your question in more detail. Look for the comment by “Sites Help Owner”.

How to use Google search with my javascript turned off?

Google‘s search engine now requires javascript. Can’t click on the results and go to the sites with javascript turned off. Does Google have a non-javascript search engine or something?
*update*
It appears to be an experimental thing that Google is doing and is turning the feature on and off intermittently. I hope they don’t make it JavaScript only, if they do I will quit using Google search. I will virus scan my computer just in case though.

Administrator answers:

I don’t know what you mean. I just turned off JavaScript in my web browser and Google worked just fine.
