Charles asks…

What are those circular tracks of land on Google Earth?

If you look up Blue Ridge, ND on google earth you will see may green round tracks of land. They look very odd and do not make any sense. Curious what they are?

Administrator answers:

Without looking at Google Earth, I can tell you that those “green round tracks” are circular plots of land watered by “center pivot irrigation.”

Nancy asks…

what’s the difference between google earth and google earth professional?

what are the options that are added to google earth pro and which are not found in the normal one?

Administrator answers:

Google Earth | Free

Google Earth combines the power of Google Search with satellite imagery, maps, terrain and 3D buildings to put the world’s geographic information at your fingertips.

* Fly to your house. Just type in an address, press Search, and you’ll zoom right in.
* Search for schools, parks, restaurants, and hotels. Get driving directions.
* Tilt and rotate the view to see 3D terrain and buildings.
* Save and share your searches and favorites.

Since Google Earth was launched, users have been exploring our world and creating content overlays (KML files) to share their explorations with others. We’re now highlighting user-created KML files each week in the new Google Earth Gallery. You can also choose to add the gallery’s Google Gadget to your iGoogle page.

Steven asks…

Is it possible if I can view an incident on google earth that occured at a certain time?

My dad’s car got broke into and we want to view it on google earth. There is an option so we can change the time, but that option is blocked. So what is the oldest version of google earth available.

Administrator answers:

Google earth doesn’t operate on real time video feeds or anything like that. It is made up of satellite images and the odds of you seeing someone breaking into a car from a satellite and being able to identify the person is slim to none. Good luck with that.
