Your Questions About Google Earth
Can I copy and paste counties on google earth?
I want to be able to get a picture of the county Norfolk, UK, off of Google Earth, and I’ve put borders on so I can see where Norfolk starts and ends. Am I able to copy the picture of Norfolk exactly around the border to put in a word document? If so, please tell me how.
No, Google Earth would have to first recognize the county then they would add it.
why are some parts of google earth blured and some parts are clear?
when i go on to google earth i try looking up were i live but it always seems to be blurred but on other parts its clear.
It depends on the sort of GIS data google has for the area.
If they just have satellite imagery, you can’t focus down effectively.
If they have airplane data, you can focus down further.
The really fun thing is to look at places in the NorthEast of the US where there is a lot of forest and look for bright brown-orange squares- those are areas where the data is from autumn, not from squares of orange trees.
