Your Questions About New Driver Car Insurance Quotes
How can I get paid when my car was hit by another car?
My car was hit on the left rear by a following car. The driver doesn’t buy any insurance for the car. The police said this accident would be her fault. But if she refuses to pay the car repair fee, what can I do ? I have car insurance, will my insurance company deal with this for me? Thank you very much!
You need to have uninsured motorist PROPERTY DAMAGE insurance or collision insurance. And yes, you are still responsible for your deductible.
There are two types of uninsured motorist coverage. Property damage and bodily injury. Most only cover bodily injury on uninsured motorist insurance.
If you don’t have collision or uninsured motorist property damage coverage, the only thing you can do is sue for the car repairs. Take her to small claims court. Bring a police report saying she is at fault and the repair quote. Enjoy.
Can the car insurance co. charge me £170 for having a speeding ticket 4 years ago and not telling them?
My car‘s just been hit by a bus, whilst parked outside my house. The driver drove away but I have the registration. Rang the insurance company, who now want to charge me £174 for a speeding ticket my second driver had 4 years before this policy was taken out, in a different car with a different insurance company! They say that they can’t get it fixed and I’m not insured until I pay up.
Can they get away with this?
Well for a start leaving the scene of an accident is an offence so you need to call the police with the registration details, try to find witnesses too.
They must have asked what endorsements you had at the start and you must have been in accurate. So your insurance company is only asking for this extra money relating to the points on your licence. They can void the policy all together, so I would pay it and then get the vehicle repaired and then go to confused.com and find a new quote to recoup the money.
How much do teens have to pay for car insurance monthly?
I’m 17 and my mom has esurance. I have a job now and so now I’m allowed to get my license. They won’t give us a quote until I actually have my license but I live in Littleton, CO 80123 and I’ll be driving a 1997 Subaru Legacy
What you pay depends on several things. Are you going to be listed as the sole driver of the Subaru.
How many miles you drive, where the car is housed at,your grades, what coverage limits you will have,
what deductibles are picked. But it will probably be another 1000 to 1500 a year to add you to your
How much does a salvaged title make your auto insurance go up?
I am an 18-year-old first time driver that just got his license a week ago. I got a car that’s a “salvaged title” and a theft recovery. I got a quote on the car before I found out those things and the quote was $135/month. But I was wondering, how much does the salvaged title make it go up? Can anyone give an approximate answer? And what insurance company is the best for this? Thanks.
In my experience, not at all. You probably won’t be able to get comprehensive insurance. (I only carried liability, a couple notches above minimum, and uninsured motorist coverage.)
As an 18 year old driver, 135 a month isn’t bad, most places. It could be far, far worse.
There is no one best insurance company, really. Based on experience of me, my family, and my neighbors, I’d recommend against Geico.
I and my family have used Progressive for years upon years (and my mom had them through SEVEN incidents of people hitting her car while it was parked) and our experiences have been generally very good. Their rates are pretty good. You might find slightly cheaper, but they’re nothing to complain about.
You should go to an insurance broker, if you’re really REALLY concerned about price. They should have access to all kinds of policies from famous companies and companies you’ve never heard of.
Edit: If you lie to the insurance company, and then get in an accident, you risk having your coverage denied. Do not lie to the insurance company.
